Addressing small issues proactively is significantly more cost-effective than waiting for a full rethatch.
What is the difference between re-thatching and roof repair?
Roof repair addresses specific areas of damage – such as loose thatch, a localised leak, or a compromised ridge – without disturbing the rest of the roof. Re-thatching is a more comprehensive process where a fresh layer of thatch is applied over or in place of the existing material, restoring the roof’s full insulation performance and extending its lifespan by 15 to 30 years area dependant.
